We have absolutely zero use of him while Rafinha can be useful. Valverde had to tell Denis he doesn’t count in him and he would have left but he didn’t do that. He even used some bullshit “similar profile to Iniesta” comparison while referring to Denis.

Fully agree. We can use Rafinha way more than Denis, and need to be a bit more ruthless towards the players we don't need, imo.
Denis will never be good enough to the bench as I see it - and even in Copa I would rather play Alena or Puig for example.
