Rafinha Alcantara

You literaly described what 100% of the other midfielders yesterday couldn't do :D
It's funny, because Alena mostly does the same thing, even down to ridiculous one footedness. They both actually have this same problem, they can operate only their left foot, which make them predictable and limited to same actions again and again. Thought Alena gave more penetrative passes than Rafinha though, but maybe i missed on something that Rafa did.

Valverde is delighted with the level Rafinha Alcântara has shown and he would like the Brazilian to be part of the squad. [sport]

Dude we have just sent a 140m player on a loan (for 8.5 mil) and we proclaimed this mediocre and injury prone player as a new solution in our midfield and on the wing. This is absolutely horrible!

1-What does Coutinho have anything to do with Rafinha? They aren't playing on same side of the pitch and have different game.
2-We didn't proclaim anything. Rafinha is a good squad player. But he is an injury prone and has one year left on his contract.
No one will pay us anything for him under those circumstances. Our only option is to flat out tell him he isn't wanted here and to force him out for whatever club he wants for free most likely.
So it is a simple math, do we want Rafinha on his current wage as useful player? Most likely yes.
The only reason to move him under current circumstances is to make a place and provide minutes for other players like Alena & Carles Perez

Says we offered him a renewal when he got injured a season ago but he wanted to focus on his recovery instead.
