Respect your opinion as always mate. I must say though I am surprised to see Salah bottom on talent - I thought he'd at least be above Bale. Although obviously even the lowest is a 9 at least in talent.
Hazard is the most talented. Robben and Ribery were always very highly rated and had a lot of raw ability. Bale edges Salah because young Bale was a huge superstar right after he changed his position. Bale's natural pace, power, shooting ability, crossing and set plays are better than Salah. Salah had to work his way up and had failures as a young prospect.

Also, clutch, x factor and on their day all seem similar to me.

Talk soon mate.
Clutch means big games, high pressure moments.

X Factor means decisive individual ability in any game.

On their day signifies their performance levels when they were in form and at their best.

There's definitely a bit of overlap here....... 😅

Fair post.

I would simply suggest that Salah is the only non-European here and - reading his story - had to make a lot of personal sacrifices as a kid to get to the top of European football. I think he had to work up to the top not because of lack of talent (relatively speaking), but because of not being lucky enough to be part of European academies. I guess you could argue though that he didn't stand out enough as a kid to be picked up by one in Europe.

Other than that, I enjoy all the posts in here and the thread.

And with that I really should go offline and do other stuff

Oh, Mo definitely didn't lack talent.

It's just tiny differences and being at the bottom doesn't mean you're not talented.

He had failures like the one at Chelsea. The others here didn't in their younger days.

Difficult.

Salah gets the first place, guy has been pure worldclass since he is playing for Liverpool. Its a pity that he only won 1 Pl and 1 Cl so far but he was with Virgil Liverpool's face in last 7 years.

2-5th place is really though to choose, need to seperate it like Tempt has done. Peak would Hazard probably win, he was unplayable when he was in mood. But his Real stint was just crap. Ribery and Robben were both terrific at Bayern, in 2013 Ribery was absolutely insane and had the higher peak than Robben who had better longevity i think. Bale was too much injured time during his peak, was decisive in big games though ( 2 goals in ucl finals, winner in copa final 2014 and important for 16/17 ll win, also many great matches for Wales).

I choose: Salah, Robben, Ribery, Bale, Hazard

Bale and Hazard would be higher with more longevity
