Me neither lol, I mean his second half of the season could have been better but if you were to read the forum without watching any Barca games you'd think he was a terrible player. But then again seems like there always needs to be a scapegoat for our problems. After Villa broke his leg it turned to Cesc.
thing is he just never seemed to do much. It felt like a wing version of Gomez - he bagged a few goals but his overall contribution to the team let us down. Yeah he played out of position but even when in the middle three it felt like watching a PL match: too many longballs, lacked patience and creativity.
As for Villa, I still don't want him at the club. Nothing personal, but his performances + age and of course the injury. If we could get half of what we bought him for now, i wouldn't think twice about it.
