Ravel Morrison

Followed this guy all the way through United’s academy, massive talent!

Needs a move away from West Ham though, other than Stoke they are the worst possible club in the PL for player like Morrison. West Ham are maybe good for him now in terms of getting PL experience, but longer he stays there he’ll pick up some bad habit’s due to how dire their football is.. For me a young technical footballer like Morrison needs to be at a club where there are players more on his wave length, Arsenal would be great for him.

Here’s a run he made against Sunderland last week.

The midfield competition at Arsenal is ridiculous. I'd sooner see him go to a Swansea/Southampton type, or maybe even Liverpool.

Our midfield is jam-packed with top talent.

It's a Striker we're after.

So would i, but i can't see him leaving West Ham to go to Swansea or Southampton, if West Ham get relegated maybe he will, but West Ham are a far bigger club than Swansea and Southampton. Allardyce is the main problem West Ham, every club he's managed, the football has been awful.

Allardyce can only take West Ham so far, with his one-dimensional, direct football. This style of football is not conducive to Ravel's ability. Nevertheless, he is one of the first names on the team sheet and as long as Ravel keeps his head down, concentrates on his football and stays out of trouble (as he is now doing), he will end up at one of Europe's massive clubs.

Big Sam has done a good job of getting the team back into the Prem, but he is not the man to take West Ham to the next level, especially with a move the Olympic Stadium on the horizon.

I don't see why he'd stay at West Ham just because they're a 'bigger club', not when they're clearly a weaker one right now. It's not like West Ham is a glamour destination.

Little steps is not really the way to getting a transfer to a big club, something all professional footballers aim for and level where Morrison should be playing.

If he signs for a Swansea or Southampton from West Ham, he’ll probably have to stay there for 2 or 3 years before big clubs start sniffing again and that’s if he does well.

Big clubs are sniffing now, so why does he need to go to a Swansea or Southampton from West Ham? Its something he doesn't need to do…With his talent he should be having his say on league titles and Champions League games if he develops how we hope, so next destination has got to be for a team who offers this type of competition.

For a very good reason. He needs to put in consistent performances in week in week out for the whole season. Like Barkley.

He can't , maybe show flashed but that's about it. The way westham plays and the low level of quality around him is damaging to his development. I wish liverpool could buy him . Cause they do need a better midfield.

I don't think either is more consistent than the other, Barkley just has the advantage of playing for a team that are flying right now, and more importantly, in a system in which he sees a lot of the ball. Even then, Ravel is ahead on both goals and assists for the season.

Rumours going around that he could be off to City with Lescott going the other way.

Bad move for him imo. Talent wise think he's the best young English player out there in terms of ceiling of potential, but City will be sooo bad for his development.

That may have happened had City wrapped up the Mangala deal.
Not happening this window, so Lescott stays.

Moving to City would have been a horrible decision. He wouldn't get enough game time and he'd be back in the environment that caused him to go off the rails in the first place.
