I wouldn't worry about it. Most likely they will slip once. How we can go without slipping once is the biggest question.

Vicente Moreno is apparently the leading candidate to be Espanyol's coach in Segunda next year. With Mallorca most likely being relegated he would be a good choice.

Marcelino is also an option but I doubt he'd want to go to Segunda although he did overtake Villarreal during the season they were in Segunda. I rate him as a coach so wouldn't really want him there tbh. He would get them immediately promoted (well, they probably will be back after just a season regardless of the coach) and could also do a good job with them in La Liga when they return.
