I fail to see what's idiotic about that. Some people spend a lot of money on cars, others on artwork, others on attending the biggest football-games in the world... If it makes you happy, why not?

Nobody of the ticket-buyers could have predicted that the Clasico would NOT be played on Sat or Sunday. If I remember correctly, the last time it was played on a Monday was 40 years ago or sth.

Actually I do disapprove of people from the ghetto and don't like to look at them, but I wear reasonably priced underwear, not fancy in the least. Or do Aussies refer to trousers as "pants" like the yanks do? My trousers are in fact quite fancy, a nice pinstripe effort for work purposes.
