But you forget that Barcelona are good against teams that aren't compact. Or that play a high line. Milan would be more than capable of sitting back and doing us on the counter. Milan aren't doing well, in that sense they're not underrated.
But as a threat to us, they are FAR underrated, judging by some comments.

They only can be dangerous through counter attack when they have fast players. Who are their fast players exactly? Ibrahimobitch?! And their defence is not exactly the best out there wth Zambrotta, Silva (injured), Nesta (old) and Antonini. With a joke of a GK in Abbiati at their back. Barca will destroy them.

This. We're not talking about players who were at the very peak of their careers and were very much on form (Inter). These players have a few mileage in them (with the exception of their attack line). I don't see how they can hurt us on the counter either. Only Robinho and Pato would be able to keep up with the counter. Ibrahimovic will be gassed out or would be too fucking lazy to run on the counter.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo Is The Most Annoying Player I've Ever Seen - FIFA Referee Claus Bo Larsen :gap:

FIFA official Claus Bo Larsen brands Cristiano Ronaldo the most annoying player he has ever refereed.

FIFA referee Claus Bo Larsen has branded Real Madrid attacker Cristiano Ronaldo as “the most annoying player” he has ever officiated in his career.

The Danish whistler has taken charge of matches at the top level for 14 years, and is regarded as one of the governing body’s most respected figures.

Speaking in an interview with publication Ekstra Bladet, Larsen mentioned that he oversaw the recent Champions League match between Los Blancos and Milan, and offered some choice comments about the Portuguese superstar.

He remarked: “He is always out to get a cheap free-kick, especially at home. We tend to talk before games about how he would go down so easily. We know how not to be biased. But we have to be prepared too.

“Cristiano Ronaldo is given a clean slate at the start of every game, but when he would lie down after failing to win a free-kick, he would smile at me :gap: because he knows I don’t fall for his theatrics.”

Conveniently left out Robinho. Besides Ibra doesn't drop, no need for him to be lightning fast. And you forget Pato too, and offside king Inzaghi whose positioning makes up for lack of pace.
Thiago Silva is injured but the knockouts are far away (still doubt he'll be back but you never know).

Anyway, I have overstated the counter-attacking case, but you have got to keep in mind that this is the CL and competent tactical, defensive play often wins the day. There's a reason Milan have been so successful in the CL. And they will continue to be good in the knockouts. I don't want to draw them - i'd gladly draw Roma though.

Pete: Inzaghi's out for the rest of the season, so you might not want to include him into that list.

And to be fair, despite of Milan still having the guns to compete, I don't they are as dangerous as you make them out to be. Certainly, there have been huge understatements of Milan's current situation, but I still believe we'd be able to edge them. GIVEN we'll face them.

And you forgot Pirlo beef. His assists/through passes are crazy and he would be very good at the counter-attack for them.
