Messi is not a striker and van persie maybe a better all round player, but he plays 5 games a season and i think milito is the better player

Milito would score goals in any system not just a product of joses tactics, yes he benefited from it, but messi benefits greatly from pep's tactics as well, but we can't hold that against him

milito has scored goals everywhere he has been, the man is class

He is the best striker in the world. You stick him in the striker's role and he does it better than anyone else in the world. That's all there is to it. Not that it matters too much in the discussion, Milito is definitely top 10 either way.

Messi is not a striker and would not be the best in the world if you play him in that position. It's bonkers to say that if you stick Messi in the striker's role he would do it better than anyone else. Playing in that role is a totally different requirement to Messi's current role. I am not saying Messi isn't a great goal scorer as he is but don't confuse that with thinking he would be a great striker. Messi would not be a great striker.

Putting Van Persie and Messi is exactly like putting CR.. none of them are strikers they score goals a plenty and they are the ones who are considered all around
and sorry but Milito piss all over Dzeko who achieved nothing yet apart from 2 very good seasons compared to a guy who scored non stop in all teams he played for in the last 11 years

He is definitly a top 15 if not a top 10 striker apart from few names in the world and that's Ruud,Drogba,Eto'o , Villa and Forlan.etc no other striker in that list scored goals constantly and was very good constantly without a dip in form , even Drogba suffered when he moved to Chelsea

your opening statement was that, "milito is not even in the top 15 of strikers" and then, the consistency of your arguments have been lowering with each subsequent post of yours to a point where you are clearly admitting that milito is a goal scorer regardless of the system that he is put under. yes, i understand your point that he was made the best striker past season due to the need of a poacher in mourinho's inter system but which team doesnt need a pure poacher in their ranks?

what you said was brilliance with Jose is actually what Milito been doing all his life.
He is the only player (outside Dinho and Messi ) who raped Real Madrid (posted the video bitch ) , he lead both Zaragoza and Genoa to a European qualification
maybe the world took notice with Inter but for us he was the main threat whenever Barca or Real played Zaragoza and he gave both teams a hard time

berbatov is a poor man's milito because of his inconsistency as they exhibit the same playing style (albeit have to admit that milito is less technical than berbatov and berbatov is not a workhorse like milito)

i would agree to disagree with you because milito cant link up play effectively. milito is like ruud. a pure poacher.
