Doesn't have the assigned number yet since our squad is full. Momo Diarra has been told that he cannot count on minutes in this spring term and should do what's best for him and seek a new club. That will probably result in Lass getting number 6 and Adebayor taking up number 10.

yusuf,
So so ignorant.

Mahamadou Diarra sold to AS Monaco for 1.5 million euros. Thanks Momo. You have been the loyal player and a fierce competitor, never moaned about anything or anyone. It's a shame that injuries affected him so badly. I'm sad to see you go after all of those good moments you gave us Momo e.g. on Bernabeu Clasico in 2008 or the major part of the season under Capello. Good luck :)

That Mallorca goal in 2007 was magic. Also always played to the end in big games. His career was too riddled with injuries for him to reach the very top.

You don't take into account the possibility of Adebayor changing his ways in terms of motivation and behaviour under Mourinho which in my opinion is very disregarding approach.

The guy has faced some tricky questions during conference e.g. possible partnership in attacking formation with Benzema (it was a provoking kind of question) and answered all of them with professionalism.

I think it's not right to get all happy/all upset (in Gio's case) about the transfer until the player actually plays a game in the completely new environment.

he wont adapt to spanish play and against tough opposition it will show, that is my opinion and i may be wrong but FFS madrid could have got somebody who has any hint of good charactar

I can't remember how many people I have seen and met who were expressing the same or similar views about Van Nistelrooy coming to Madrid in 2006. Many people said he is slow, he has just shown lack of professionalism and will to fight for his spot in MU by arguing with Ronaldo, many people said he is past it and it will take him long-ass period of time to adapt to spanish style of play and what happened ? He got a Pichichi in his first season.

I know it's not the same case and there is a huge difference in quality, but some statements I read around here are so unfair and generalising Adebayor like he was a piece of junk (dare to quote: "Panic buy") and has no chance of succeeding in Madrid.

Firstly, dont compare RVN to Ade.

Secondly, i agree that some people are underestimating and they probably have never seen him play.

All i'm saying is, there is a reason why Pep wanted him to be our number 9. Ade can do a good job for 6 months and win the something..

Btw, he looks horrible in white. That pic above looks like he's been photoshopped in..

Real shirt suits him. He could be wearing it for a long time.

Mourinho did such a great job changing Benzema's bad habits right?
