Well, he knows he touched him so tries to make sure he is ok and that he didn't cause a skin tear, a bruise or didn't poke his eye out you know. Abidal's recovery is crucial to tell how harsh was this incident and certainly doesn't deserve to be called 'kicking someone's head off'.

He's still a decent player, but getting old and injury-prone. He's a big name, but right now 'Kaka' is just another way of saying 'failure', hence most big clubs don't want him. His pay is also quite exhuberant, he'll have to lower it to leave for a strong side.
