Instead of arguing football, you play the "I-have-been-supporting-Liverpool-for-longer-than-you-have-been-supporting-Barca" card instead.

As if that on its own (if it were true) proves anything in an argument over football.

Just speaking the truth son.

So I take it the next time Barca go through a period of wilderness and trophy drought you'll still be fully committed to them? Or will you whine and bitch and moan and whine and bitch and moan and after that decide to transfer your support to another team?

I don't think there is anything wrong with whining and bitching about the current set up of your most beloved team. For me it shows that you care and know what the club can do when things are done right. What's wrong though is knob jockies who change teams because of a drought. People like them should take a hike.. to Mordor..

I agree in principle but then after they whine and moan they don't follow that up by supporting the team when they need you the most. Tis the truth of the matter.

Would this be a good point to offer a link to the thread here you made denouncing your support of Liverpool and football because of a trophy drought?

i don't want to start an argument about this but i do find it baffling how someone from cyprus who has probably never even visited the nou camp or spain for that matter thinks he can lecture genuine fans who have a season ticket and go to see there team play every week, just who do you think you are, typing articulately worded comments on your computer does not make you a real supporter mate, you already said in a previous post that you follow barca because they play the most attractive football, which suggests that if xavi, messi, iniesta etc were playing for madrid you would be following them instead, basically you follow whoever the best team is, i wonder where you were when barca went through there dry period in the early 2000's, probably following the madrid galatico's and claiming to be a madrid fan, the term glory hunter comes to mind.................

Ed has a season ticket? Since when? I thought he lived in London.

at least its the same country lol, what motivates someone who lives in cyprus to be a barca fan other then the fact that they are the best team, doesn't it annoy you as a barca fan that the moment madrid get on top again he'll go off and support them instead..............

Who cares where someone is from when it comes to supporting a club, that's a ridiculous argument and I don't understand people who think this way. However when someone openly admits that they only support Barca because of the "beautiful football" that's very telling of the person no matter where they're from.
