I think Mou's constant bitching and shenanigans made the media and the federation listen to him, with our policy of swallowing the bitterness and moving on I think we're screwing ourselves in the long run. Everyone thinks we can swallow all the shit they throw at us so they keep doing it, and they stopped doing it against Mou and RM cuz they voice their displeasure all the time.

I absolutely respect the club's policy but I think we're overdoing it. Its getting to the point of no return imo, its normal for others to screw us over RM cuz we wont complain and they would if it were the other way around. That why the ref would look to screw us over them cuz he gets to keep his reputation, Mou would be content and wouldnt have the need to talk shit.

Great to see you guys back here!

And Ryan and Mitkoa. Real may have had advantageous decisions for them this season, however they have been more consistent than Barcelona - you cannot argue that fact.

IMO Barca are the better team at the moment, however, the gap HAS closed between Barca and Real. The gap Barca created from 2009 to 2011 was huge to Real. But this season Real have reduced that gap.

You can talk about referrees, media, conspiracies all you want, but the simple truth of the matter is that the gap has closed between the two clubs. I first noticed it in the copa match this season and whilst I kept my thoughts to myself I couldn't help but think Barca were lucky to win that game. From then on Real were a machine and Barca were inconsistent. Real's players have improved and Barca's level remained the same - thus the gap closed a little.

I still think all things being equal like mental fatigue, physical tiredness and issues like that then Barca's first 11 would beat Real's first 11, however it wouldn't be such a foregone conclusion like it would have been in August or the 2 years before this.

But only a fool will think that Real haven't closed the gap to Barca. Because they have.

Thank you too Anfield...interesting topic you're talking about. My thoughts on this are, that Real did to a certain extend closed the gap this season thanks to Mourinhos great work as a coach. However, it remains to be seen wether or not they can hold on to that success!!! I see two, let's call it "worrying factors" with regards to the near future.

1) Mourinho staying or leaving and in that context, how long will he stay if he does.
2) The signings need a fixing.

I think 1) is obvious and needs no further explanation. 2) basically means that, IMO, this years success is based on Mourinhos great work while Real Madrid is living from the signings that were done 2,3 or more years ago!!! Last summers signings are apart from Varane & Callejon almost completely useless and could not life up to the purpose they were signed for.
Personally, i have my "wishings", but i'm not going all FIFA here now.

O_O Doooon't say such things. Regardless of whether they win CL, its a disgrace to hand CR Ballon D'or. It should be best player= best player, not best player = biggest winner
