Anxiously waiting for the next match
Seeing the Madrid and Barca players hug it out like this after the match, really makes me hope at least the worst maliciousness will be gone from next seasons clásicos.
Mou will of course ruin it though.

o no pepe was hugging no one...

Benfica played some amazing football, their first two goals were identical, both headers from set pieces.

Man how I wish Javi Garcia would come back :(.

What's with the lack of transfers? Real so far sold Canales, Gago and Altintop, add to that 40-50 mil. and Mou has a nice sum to spend.
From the looks of it, you are able to buy Modric and still have 30 mil. to spend elsewhere. And let's not forget money from probable Kaka transfer.

Maybe they are keeping the money for Neymar. :icon_neutral:

Seriously thoguh, they have an amazing young squad and, like Wolfe said, they have no need to change it. Maybe they manage to replace Kaka with Modric..though I can't imagine who will be willing to buy the brazilian if he won't accept a lower salary.

you change a winning team because barca won't have pique, sanchez, pedro picking up injuries throughout the season and villa is unlikely to miss half the season, it would be like madrid without di maria, benz, higs and ramos. add to that tito is unlikely to tinker as much as pep did last season.

a winning team is a team that wins a treble besides there is always room for improvement
Is that so then in La liga there has only been one winning team in history(Barcelona 08/09) and the PL has also had only one winning team in history(Manchester united 98/99). Get your facts straight I don't believe in any such thing as a winning team Real were awesome last season whether we like it or not however every team has room for improvement if there isn't then football would become boring.

I think Real Madrid's approach this year has been nothing short of comforting and awesome. I am relaxed with the lazy rumors, it feels good to have sustainability. I wasn't keen on Mourinho staying but now that he is staying, I am glad because it gives Madrid a major sense of continuity. No need to make rash purchaces, no need squad stacking. I think Mourinho is shopping around to buy properly. But more so I think he is organizing the club from bottom up. Its just my thoughts but I have a feeling he is looking to create a structured team on all levels for the future. My only concern is the Ronaldo dependency and Xabi/Khedira. I want Javi Garcia more so now that he scoted against us and not celebrating. I think he'd give Madrid a massive boost in identity and improve our game. How well would he fit in, I am not sure but I like him and his stache a lot.
