Yeah ofcourse, but i feel the deal will materialise and it should be finalised within the next 5-10 days, looking at the current situation. Obviously manu wants him badly, cuz he’s the missing link at the moment imo. If you add him to your ranks your team is basically complete and you can spend the remaining summer ditching the unneeded players.

I rate Xabi. He'll be a good signing for sure. I have nothing to say about the possible fee as it doesn't seem to matter in this market. Now to add some negativity to the post: Xabi is a disgrace to every Basque man, woman & child. All in all, I feel I've been kind with this post, Beast Feel free to thank me later.

Alonso would be a very good signing for Madrid.

I'm really suprised no team has raided Madrid for their rejects. I would have expected Zenit St Petersberg to try and take Van De Vart, Schneider,Negredo, Van Nistlerooy, Huntelaar and Robben.

If I were liverpool I would ask for M.Diarra+Schneider+10m for Xabi. Or maybe they should forget Schneider and go for Van De Vart or Negredo/Huntelaar/Nistlerooy. Best move would probably be M.Diarra+Negredo/Huntelaar, Or they could take a leaf from United's book and take one of their legendary strikers.

He's too good for them. He is still capable at playing for European sides. I'm suprised Milan haven't tried to sign him. He seems like just the player they would sign. Cheap old and a past legend.

Yep, IMO RVN still has quite a bit left in him.

Xabi, atleast for my view, is Madrid's most important signings. I hate the fact that he's joining Madrid, he will be vital for them. I find it hard to not wish him well, one of my favourite players in EPL. Also, Rafa is an idiot.

It's Sneijder, and that is an absolutely ridiculous price.

as far as i know/read, they are not legally bound to accept that request. though there is some sort of mystic value to that request, which makes it some sort of "a question of honour" for a club to accept it. so basically you can say: legaly bound, NO...moraly bound, YES.

back to the negociation...according to AS, it's VDV or negredo, but not both. i hope at this stage of negotiation, involving players doesn't complicate things, starting with the evalutation of either negredo or VDV.
