Good cause i want to give the young Dutchie more chances . Diwara has apologized for CR for his tackle which caused the injury .. good man .

that's gay. it was a fantastic tackle.

unlucky for ronaldo to be injured by it but football is a contact sport. tbh he's been the victim of much worse and come out of it perfectly fine.

Real Madrid made a special event for Benzema he was called to Bernabeu with the notion that he was going to collect some papers and there was Benzema idol Ronaldo
Satellite

Benzema was lost in words and told Ronaldo that since he was 12 years old he followed him & that he was his idol and the best forward ever , Ronaldo told Benzema " make use of the passes Raul,CR & Kaka will give him and if he reached the final of the CL he will be there to cheer for him so do well "

1. I laugh that real are treating benzema like a terminally ill child from the make-a-wish foundation.

2. I wonder how much money he was paid for that?

Lol at the make a wish comment Meta, awesome  he looks like quite a simpleton in his shitty anorak as well.
Agree about the Diawara apology, I heard about that today as well, load of bollocks. It was a hard but fair challenge. It was just unfortunate CR did his ankle from it. It wasn't some horrendous challenge that needed an apology.
On the Ronaldo thing, the guy is one of the great all time strikers. I feel lucky to have grown up watching the guy, as he will be spoken of for many decades to come. He played for Barca, Real, Inter, and AC. He's not really picking sides at any point there, he's just playing for good teams. As Beast said, he played at Real for the most significant period, so you can see why he's said certain things.

Where else would he have gone though after Inter? No other club really truly wanted to pay the fee for an injury prone striker - however good he is.

Trust me had he had a crap 2002 world cup he would not have gotten his move to Madrid.

Madrid wanted him for these reasons IMO:-

1) Was the star striker of the 2002 world cup
2) Continuation of their galactico policy
3) They needed a striker

I struggle to see 1) what clubs wanted him around that time and 2) even if clubs were interested, the club needed to be a CL club and Inter would not sell to another italian club. So that leaves Barca, Madrid and Manure. Manure had RVN, Barca (as I seem to recall) were not interested so that realistically left Madrid.

Ronaldo didn't make his name at Barca, he was not a youth product (if he was one of those 2 I'd have more sympathy with your point). He left Barca in 97 joined Madrid in 02. A 5 year gap. After his hell in Inter and considering the options out there then Madrid was the only solution.

I hate it when you make sense. But this isn't about making sense. this was one of my fav players signing for the club I hate the most. This is emotional.

2. I wonder how much money he was paid for that?

no money, just transvestites.

Valdano might be in charge of the football, Pellegrini is in charge of the tactics and line ups, but when it comes down to the Galacticos the one and only true controller, it is Perez.

I am sure he got Ronaldo to fly over to encourage Benzima. A 35 million investment could not look sulking. A major morale boost for the kid and I hope it works.

How many morale boosts does this kid actually need?

One would say that a transfer to one of his dream clubs and a nice and sly pay check would do the trick, on top of making football your profession.

Why should he Tamer ? he spent one year @ Barca he isn't related to Barca in any way par the over the top impressive season he spent

Easily the most successful season of his entire career, Barca fans loved him, and is considered sort of a legend just for that one year. I don't blame him for meeting Benzema, just saying they could have done it in a quieter way, and saying if they reach the CL final he will be there cheering for RM, you want the Cule's to love him after that? :p

Anyways, it's cool, probably both of them went back to Ronaldo's hotel and banged some transvestites after that interview. :party00231:

Ronaldo isn't well thought of by culés. Yes, his achievements during that year are somewhat legendary and people still talk about them, but during the 2006 CL celebrations at Camp Nou a video of great moments in Barça's history was shown and when the clip of Ronaldo scoring against Celta came on the screen the crowd whistled ferociously. He's a turncoat, and Barcelonistes don't like that.

Well all I can do is say what Sir Bobby said on the matter and it might clear up a few things. He said that Ronaldo was his best signing and the best transfer out of a club he had ever done. He knew about Ronaldo's knee problem when he coached him in Holland and he knew that he would only get a short space of time with him until the problems flaired up again.

I think it is unfair to call him a turncoat as we put him up for sale, not the other way round. I still hate that he ended up in Madrid, and his comments about them, but as Beast says, he shouldn't have any loyalty to the club when he was only here a season and a bit and we prostituted him.

I like the fact that Madrid ended up with the shit version.

Whether Sir Bobby knew or not remains to be an urban legend then an actual fact .
anyhow Madrid decided on recalling Parejo & Negredo for summer 10 as possible replacement for Ruud and Guti with borh approaching 34 years old for next summer , possibly in addition to Ribery although there was an article on AS couple of days ago on his injury history and the recurring injury troubles he face.
on the good news side Arbeloa has recovered and will be playing against Valladolid this weekend

I don't know if this is the right place for this, but I think its a special case. But do any of you guys know anything about a group of Madrid fans who call themselves El Anillo? On the Milan board I'm on, they "attacked" last night. Spamming messages of "Hala Madrid!" with images of a women being sick on herself but through the asshole, along with other unpleasant things, something to do with an octopus also...

I'm not saying any of you are members or nothing, I just want to find out about where they came from.

lol.. good lads

never heard of them tbh , probably a group of Internet kids
Judging from the name it has to do with a ring and the only one related to a ring is Raul :D

I'm putting you down as prime suspect Beast.

They didn't leave a favourable image of your club, literally. Honestly these images must have came from the depths of hell, I can't even describe how bad they were.

Only bit I found slightly funny is there is a an old thread for Ramadahn which they dug up and posted "Seasons Greetings" + the image of the women. I hold nothing against muslims, but you know how easily offended they can be, it was carnage after that.
