I think since the last game and his switch to 4-2-3-1 the team finally has some coherent tactic and the players are getting better ..
the difference between pre-Getafe and post -getafe is grand

what i suggested all along beast. the 4-2-3-1 is the way forward for them if they want a solid tactic.

for you ronaldo is the missing peice of the puzzle. with him on the right, benzema can piss off and you'll have higuain up front. lets hope that doesn't work out for the clasico eh? ;)

Milan defensive block was very slow with Seedorf and Pirlo partnered only with aggressive 32 y.o. Ambrosini. Result was; Real Madrid were able to create more opportunities but still only managed to score thanx to another Dida mistake. So I hardly see any major improvement from Pellegrini. In the end I think Milan could have snatched the win had they been a bit more lucky. Casillas saved that Pato's sitter and the hosts had a regular goal disallowed.
Not much to be happy about gio, although you are practically qualified if you win against Zurich at home.

Baring in mind this is just the second game i see lots of improvement , the team has a shape + players know where their team mates are standing and moving.
Real were the better team overall and for a change that's another improvement from the days of 4-2-2-2 needless to say the LB position is not a problem like before (and Arbeloa had Pedro Leon & Pato to handle )
of course there is nothing called instant improvement but i see the team moving in the right direction for a change there is a shape and tactics .
If Kaka (who IMO was bad tonight and could be for many reasons but i don't like the falling down ) and Benziza start kicking to second gear the team will improve more at least the Xabi-Lass axis are improving compared to before
give it time and lets see how then handle Atletico the next game

Madrid weren't the better team overall, they played well in the 1st half, but ultimately never looked like winning it after the Milan gol.

For sure there was improvement, but in the end you still failed to create many good scoring opertunities against our defence that looked very tired.

:lol::lol::lol:
Shots

Milan 10 - Real Madrid 24
Shots on goal
Milan 2 - Real Madrid 10
Corners
Milan 4 - Real Madrid 7

and yes it was in Milano not Madrid ...

Even with Dida in gol I wasn't especially concerned by the Madrid attack, infact the most dangerous chance in the 2nd half was an effort from well outside the box. Like I said in the other thread, Milan have a strong case for winning it with the Pato gol and the bad misses of Max + Pippo. I don't think we can point to any Madrid moment where we can say they could have won it.

with the soft penalty equalizer ? Marcelo shot from inside the box and the one just before it was Kaka shot (outside the box ) all just in the last parts of the second half ? u haven't created as much in the second half compared to what we did in the first half to u ..

It was your ground(and we all know it's a tough one ) and we were better Dida was impressive tonight and anyhow as the two management are chummy chummy i wish you best of luck in the second round

You do yourself no credit with these, frankly ridiculous, claims of baseless conspiracy. Please drop it and talk about what you are good at: football.

Madrid didn't desserve to win tonight, and they didn't, for me its really that simple. Like I said there is a case for Milan desserving the win, but I won't look to blame anyone other than ourselves as we should have been more clinical against an unimpressive Madrid defence. I'm not complaining about the result either as its more than I thought we'd get tonight.

Is there anymore to Madrid being the better side than two half chances by Marcelo and Kaka' on gol in the 2nd half? And I can't stress enough how lack lustre our defence was, Seedorf was even having to track back and put in the tackles, so you should have been able to do alot more than you did.

Oh so when we dominate it's your lackluster defense and when you have a chance it's our impressive defense ? u are gaining credit fast

And i am talking about football funny how u are trying to change the subject , the penalty was a farce and extremely soft & unintentional
if we weren't under pressure due to the last couple of games incident we would have went out with an easy win Benzema shot in the first half ? Raul (not Marcelo my bad ) shot from inside the area ? Ramos shot ?

And above all we were the visiting team while it felt like we were playing in the Bernabeu ?

Visca el filòsof!
Iker Casillas spends many evenings prowling the gardens of his expensive madrid neighbourhood and spraying the flowerbeds and lawns with chemicals to kill off the plants. When will this mad man be brought to justice?

Never.. Iker is a leader of the defenders of Madrid .
As Gala puts it "Madrid is too liberal to keep us safe " .. we need more Generals like Iker
