i can't keep up with you guys...therefore excuse me if i bring up or ask something that has already been brought up or asked before.
what about chema anton? i thought that he was your next best thing
it's more likely that marcos alonso will be the next best thing in the LB position. depor wanted him to replace filipe till the end of season. however the club didn't want to let him go. he's too important for castilla and his loan to depor would have weakened the squad too much in their opinion.
talking about castilla, wenger is apperently interested in sarabia (left wing if i remember right).
what is this "bitch-fight" between valdano & pellegrini in the press about the castilla??? it's so unnecessary right now IMO. while i basically would agree with valdano (i too would have loved to see 1 or 2 castilla boys make their debut), i must say that in this particular case i agree with pellegrini. throwing in some castilla boys against depor in the riazor after that stupid penalty would have been irresponsible.
is valdano preparing pellegrinis sack at the end of the season??? i was wondering the other day when i read on MARCAs frontpage that pellegrini said his retirement is much closer than most people think...wtf???
apperently the canales deal is now done...the most interesting detail sure is, that real have installed a clause into the contract that allows them to incorporate canales this summer already, instead of loaning him back to racing 1 year (MARCA put something similar on their frontpage weeks ago).
thank god man city are still interested in gago!!! i hope they sign him this summer. there has been rumors that man city would turn to javi martínez (who alledgedly is on real madrids shopping list too).
btw, drenthe is heading towards the same road that gago took. he too confirmed he's crying at home sometimes because of his situation at madrid. i think his days are counted as well.
one last thing, is it just me or is there anyone else who is happy with the defense??? IMO, albiol has improved extremely since pepes injury. people talk about garay having stepped in pretty well, but IMO it's more thanks to albiol that the defense is pretty solid. he stepped up his game and takes a more commanding role, no matter wether it was garay or ramos next to him. my guess is, that he's now much more comfortable playing in his prefered right sided CB position.
