Antimilan, we (mods and users alike) have spent over a year building this community free of personal insults, so if you can't hold a conversation like the 99.999% of other users here can without calling someone a fool and stupid then maybe this isn't the place for u.

Madrid played well if compared to their earlier games, if we put it all together, Madrid`s this squad is improving slowly and also steadily.
But there is a difference between having a `Class` & meeting Success .Madrid was able to matter latter ,but yet to achieve the former, may be in 100 years or so.
Barca has just lost the momentum & there has been a clear absence of esprit de corps in camp nou. Is it because of injuries or tiredness , one can only speculate about it.
But even having so much trouble , it scores beautifully & tries to innovate a different type of football in every match , tries to use every inch of the field by passing the ball to every goddamn player. Barca has it all, unlike Madrid which may have the money to buy the super-multi-talented players around the globe , but yet it lacks the spirit of the game.
We need time, Have faith in Pep !

I for one found the display of Real against Sevilla outstanding. Sevilla didn't have anything of this match. It was basically a miracle for them to get to a 2-0 lead out of absolutely nothing. Madrid were basically raping them for the whole 90 minutes and just huge amounts of luck (respectively Palop and the post) on the side of Sevilla kept this game close until the very end. A 6-0 would have been a way more appropriate result for this match then the final 3-2.
Off course from the POV of being a culé I would still have preferred for Sevilla getting through with their lucky lead or even with the draw, but I just have show my respect for the astonishing performance of Real Madrid last Saturday.

anyone claiming that sevilla "showed up" because they were 2-0 up need to get their eyes checked. sevilla played like crap, nowhere near what we expect from them. once again, we see another team inexplicably play like crap against madrid. this is getting seriously annoying. we have almeria who are fighting tooth and nail against the champs and we have sevilla who can't string 2 passes together against a team they humiliated at home. this la liga is turning into a joke, seems like the whole league wants madrid to win the title. very disappointing performance from sevilla, no confidence spirit passion belief at all.

lol, ok i really dislike madrid but seville were playing well until they got the 2nd goal. then they made tactical changes to sit back and defend the lead and that is when madrid attacked them relentlessly and ended up winning, it was seville's fault they lost but to say they played poorly on purpose does not make sense, when you are up 2-0 in madrid you did not play poorly.

Note I said squad and not first team.
For example Madrid's fringe players include Arbeloa, Gago, Mo Diarra, Raul, Marcelo, Drenthe, Guti, Metzelder and Granero. Apart from Arbeloa possibly, you wouldn't say the others are first choice when everyone is fit. Thus that is a strong squad right there.
For Barca's fringe players include the likes of Marquez, Bojan, Pinto, Keita, Milito, Maxwell, Jeffren and Chygrynskiy.
There is a difference in class there.
Over 38 games, this does make a difference.

Jeffren is about the same as Drenthe.

They have more dpeth, not a different class as you could argue we are just as strong on the bench, but our psosistions are mucked up, we have way too many defenders, we don't have a creative midfield sub, whereas they have Guti. We don't have player who can come on and most of the time always get a goal (Henry being out of form) wheras again, they have Raul.
