I don't think so. At the beggining of the season he said, "people in Santiago Bernabeu would get bored if we play like Barca plays", or at least he impplied that. He had some other comments like that in the season. I think people in Santiago Bernabeu are mad seeing how Madrid cannot pull together a good game from the beggining till the end. Cristiano and Higuain have saved his ass uncountable times

If this was Lyon or Aston Villa they wouldn't pay more then 25-27ish Million ..

just hope Di Maria would be worth it .. for me CR has provided value for money .. Kaka is a total rip off

Barca can get DiMaria if they really want him.. I think they have their eyes set on others for now.
As for Kaka, hernia problems have affected him his whole career, it's a shame it's come again this season. In the beginning half of the season Kaka used to make the occasional blistering run with pace but he's been held back a lot this year. Hopefully he can rejuvenate next season.

Di Maria certainly has won over some hearts this year but 40 million ... then I think the 35 mil for the Benz were more sensible.
If you pay 40 million for him, what do you have to pay for a player like CR? Messi? certainly more than the 90+ you paid last year.

It's not just us in the market you know , the kid/Benfica has offers from City and Chelsea.. the later is keen on spending to rejuvenate the squad this summer as half the squad starters are over age already
the other alternative is Navas (and Del Nido won't be a fool to sell cheap ) and Jesus already bring a shadow of doubt about his ability to adapt and Ribery who is older /injury prone and will cost more
