The Barca and Real presidents (Calderon-Laporta included ) are not stupid ..
once you enter a bidding war with each other you will end up being milked by a third party .
the non-aggression pact is still in full throttle , Bilbao asked for around 30 Mil which in our opinion was too much we were thinking around the lines of 15 Mil for Javi Martinez which lets face it is a good value for him .
same for Navas who's club asked for 35 Mil so you look else where in our case
Bilbao will easily sell you cheaper than us considering who you are and who they are so good luck with Javi

indeed the only reassurance was Sami presence in the Bernabeu although AS didn't mention a thing about till now
they are just reporting that our friend and Socio Angel Torres are in the Bernabeu atm to close Pedro Leon deal

I was trying to add pieces and was thinking if Barca did indeed make a move for Javi Martinez and that might be the reason you guys went on to look for other options... but probably, as of now, only the price made you check other options!!

there is 2 versions going around with regards to javi martínez

1) a pact between pérez and the bilbao does not allow either club to go for the other clubs players. pérez not going for etxebarria years ago is used as prove in this version.

2) no pact and real did make a bid in the region of 15m €, but bilbao has no intention to sell, thus refers to the 30m € buyout clause. result: the interest cooled down. however, pérez is said to be still interested and he will try again with an offer in the region of 20m €.

yes, so is the other diarra. jose met with both players yesterday according to AS. momo wasn't happy when he left the building and lass' fitness is still unknown after his cronic gen deffect.

in deed...AS this morning had schweinsteiger fearing that khedira could snap away the real madrid place under his nose. since i credit AS more, i doubt the khedira deal is done already. UNLESS of course, by now real have recived a clear and definite "no" from bayern regarding schweinsteiger.
