Well well well who would have thought !
Florentino Perez has came out and said "the defeat is humiliating but we are Real Madrid just as we win we lose and we need to recognize that Alcorcon was better than Real Madrid and we should congratulate them "
Perez also defended Pellegerini " It's only 2 month gone ,the coach is new and has a new system different than last year with new players, he must be given time and let the team gel " " injuries haven't helped us with 15 players injured in the last 2 month "

well there is always a first time for everything ..

What an anti-climax. Damnit, disappointing much.

Is it the case that with so much debt to be serviced, Madrid MUST win a major competition, and therefore make more revenue, soon or be in serious trouble?

Well a leopard doesn't chnage it's spots mate. Perez won't have suddenly had a personality change overnight.
Well since the start of the season i've been telling u Valdano lead this project and u insisted it's Perez..
well If this was Perez Manu would have been sacked last week or last night

u underestimate Valdano big time

many things effect the revenue they do need one major trophy.. for example CR recent deal replacing Becks as the face for Armani ..etc
the last galacticos stopped winning since 03/04 and the money kept getting bigger , i'm not worried in money matters at all

I still don't see the point as to why you're still saying this.... If Valdano was the President, do you think he'd sign CR9, Kaka, and Benzema? Yeah, CR9 and Kaka are impressive signings, but since Valdano is supposedly a good thinker, you'd think that Benzema wouldn't've been bought, amirite? It's a mistake to have Benzema and scratch Negredo in the first place. I hope he stays in Sevilla like he said he planned. It also seems that making Javi Garcia leave is another stupid idea because he's (or at least was) an outstanding performer in Benfica. I'd have to say though that Granero and Arbeloa are the only positive signings of this regime.

Anyway, if I was an RM fan that actually thought that Valdano was the head of this Galactico II project, I would think that Valdano would've fired Pellegrini so he'd be manager. He is "the head" of the project after all, so he should be able to do whatever he wants, right? Then again, it's assuming that he does want to be on the field with the players.

Man, RM's morals are so wrong. I won't respect this club anyway until the Perez/Calderon party leaves and the Hierro/Del Bosque party is re-instated. But it looks like that's not happening any time soon so..... So yeah, expect more complaining from me until that day happens.

I think Manu should stay. Perez is right. he needs time to work out the kinks in his system and get Cristiano back. Plus, rather than investing in defense that would give RMadrid a better chance of winning a tourney or two, CR is the face of Armani.

thank freaking goodness.
