I think it has already been discussed why he didnt perform good in big stages and the problem was his team (or at least could be).. now theres no excuses for him since he's playing with Barca and we'll know what he really is made of.

yea well, Thierry's poor performance in the CL Final was thanks to him getting injured by some stupid horse in the Clasico.

henry has never scored in any final he's featured in.

it's not a matter of consistently choking (he's had good games in them) it's a bunch of things. sometimes he choked (like in paris), sometimes he wasn't fit (like in rome), sometimes he actually played well (like pretty much every fa cup final he played in).

there is ample evidence to prove zlatan isn't a choker, but we're not gonna get into THAT argument again ffs. beastie has a thing about zlatan like I do about gerrard. it's just the way she goes.

anyway, while I would desperately want zlatan to be fit and own real. there's something delicious about the prospect of an all canterano front three defeating the multi-million real madrid. especially if the boy with the sad eyebrows starts.

he had a good game in paris, ran the shit out of our defence single handedly, had one quite weak effort (when he was already blowing out of his arse) and only a vicky, not quite wondersave but really fucking good keeping, stopped him getting the early goal after a cracking two touch move.

henchoz also stole a goal off him in henryesque handballing fashion.

he played his part in rome and was very good in 06 final, only the machine cannavaro could stop him.

basically if you look at stats you can say he choked, but goals alone can NEVER give the measure of a performance, it's like someone saying Rooney in his first England start was shit vs Turkey, he didnt score in a comfortable home win. Yet he was a clear MOM, not saying TH has always been that good but you can dress it up like a failure just because of a lack of goals.
