Can see Welbeck starting and honestly think he'll be the main man who Madrid will struggle with.

Man U soaring with a RVP led attack, I'm going to say Man U.

Hernandez to come in and score 2 goals in 20 minutes. :D

my pockets are ready to carry u all

English media will do what?

People over exaggerate the English media you know, infact i think the English media are probably one of the most neutral out there. When Barcelona beat United, next day press was just saying how fantastic they were, same when England went out against Italy. Is it the same in other countrys, is it eckers like!

So i don't know where people get all that from about the media in this country, read in this thread during my ban they want Madrid to win just to piss off the English media, what? The English media hate United and if United lose the press will say it how it was and put more bullshit on top and if United win Liverpool/southern based Journalist's will play it down best they can and that's how the press is in this country.

You haven't thought this through...The English media will have the excuse to say whatever sh*t they want for the next 12 years and beyond.

If in return rm wouldn't win anything on those years, I really wouldn't care.

For me it is not even debatable that Manchester United is the more likable team of the two...I don't want to go in details, but only from the fact that they tried to play attacking football in both our CL finals and the dignity with which they handled their losses, I trully respect them.

Yes, I'd like them to beat rm, I just cannot see it happening. If rm play what they can, and cr7 has a great game, united are doomed.

:rofl1:

Owning my disagree on this one - but the objectivity (or lack thereof) of a country's media is another discussion for another thread.

To the topic at hand: I think that Madrid - if they play to anything like their potential - can beat this United, probably with some ease.

I agree.. Real Madrid is a better team and I expect them to go through. The problem is that what makes Manchester United more respectable for me( that they try to attack), is also their biggest problem, when facing teams like us or Madrid.
Also, I just realised the unbelievable depth Manchester united has: Rooney, Van Persie, Valencia, Nani, Young, Chicarito, Welbeck, Kagawa and maybe someone else that I don't know are figthing for what...3 or 4 positions? What kind of rotation Ferguson does? It's crazy!

Ok then show me this 'pro' United Journalism in England, give me some examples, 1 example infact because i can find loads of anti-United journalism, from the top of my head 1 last week after England's victory against Brazil there was an article in The Sun headline saying 'What is the point of Tom Cleverley?' even having a little dig at Welbeck.

Even pundits are anti-United, forever predicting United will lose or this player is not good enough and questioning this or that, all fail miserably though because United more times than not win.

Not having that discussion right now (the objectivity or lack thereof of any particular country's media).

I'd rather discuss the game at hand - or possibly even the games being played today.

Why do people here hate United so much?

I mean, I'm all for shutting the EPL fanboys/the "La Liga sucks" crowd up, but I'm not gonna support RM over Man U.

But when it comes to the Champion's League or World Cup, most journos and pundits tend to side with the team from their own country.

Just look at Gary Neville from last year's final. He's a former Manchester United star but you know he wanted Chelsea to beat Bayern badly.
