Messi isn't that far of now, he could take down the european record of league goals in a single league now held by Bican with 446 in Czech championship, and then next season take down Pelé's world record of 470 in the Sao Paulo state championship. If Messi continue playing for another 5-6 seasons he will take down Pelé's 541 goal record, which is just completely insane considering it will have been achieved in the most demanding league in the world for most of the time he was active.
