I spent most of the day thinking about what he and his family must have been going through in the last few days. Imagine the roller-coaster of emotions that inevitably culminated into the deepest of griefs. No amount of money, no legendary footballing career come even close to comfort the anguish he and his children must be going through.

Things like these just about debunk all those nutty conspiracies we all read when we were 15. Life is an involuntary externality, circumstantial and random, and almost completely out of our control, even for those deemed more fortunate or blessed.
