Yeah Gomes and Paco. That's nearly 70 million burned for no reason at all.

I don't know about you, but I can't think many companies/organizations on this planet where an employee can burn 70 million on useless 'assets' and not be facing immediate termination.

Gomes was on Lucho,he just supported his coach. And Pep costed us more 8 years ago with Ibra and Chyg. Yeah Pep was different situation but firing a guy after one summer might not be the best decision.
I mean I am not even sure if this board will hire someone better, and tbf with him Paco was like his 10th choice, his 1st was Dembele who could have been an awesome signing. Thing is every striker avoided us like we are infectious. He surely should have just kept Munir. But the point is there is some hope with him. Many of the player he signed and went after weren't as bad. This year with Messi moving to midfield it seem there won't be player avoiding us while being afraid of their playing time.
Again, not saying he is gr8, but as usual I prefer to be reserved with my judgement. I didn't hail him when many thought we finally had competent sporting director and I won't curse him with one summer in charge

I'd give even Abidal a chance. He couldn't be worse. He recommended umtiti and now is recommending sidibe.

Abidal and Puyol as a Sporting Director team.

One can dream.

Are we not one of the worst clubs in the way we utilize the potential asset of our former players. They don’t all have to be employed by the club but we should be doing better surely in achieving mutual benefits. Of course a key part also is in the way the club handles their exit. Which at times has not been admirable.

The least Abidal would do is just hoard all the good French talent which actually would be great since that's where the best talent in Europe is right now.

No, it is the opposite. The club is so faithful to former player that they ignore the rest of football world tbh.

Abidal isn't on good terms with Barto and co,they offered him a job b4 and he declined IIRC. May be he will reconsider but doesn't seem likely

Talking about Juve like they have something to be ashamed about.

This guy has to be the biggest idiot of the bunch, more than Lucho and Barto. As if this guy has the right to talk about shame.

How this idiot made it into a director role at FC Barcelona is beyond anything I can fathom.

Just the same way that idiot Bartomeu got voted to be our president

Exactly, he got voted to be our president by the socios. Us winning the treble was a 'poisoned gift', which made fans forget to NOT elect this stupid board.

This buffoon just can't keep his mouth shut.

Hopefully he'll be gone along with Lucho and Unzue.

I don't find a single wrong word in what he said,He is probably asked a question and answered.
If anything, this is a very positive comment,he realize there is a gr8 weaknesses in the team,he realize there is no shame for teams t play non-Barca type of football. Those are very good comments in fact

Exept we are not a company. Board is elected with peoples votes. We seem to forget that we are in this mess because of clueless and shady socios.

Democracy is a double edged sword.

He should shut up. And when he ventures to open his mouth, stuff Gomes and Paco down his throat.
