None of these Liverpool players are that good. Klopp is the magician. If any of those players would join Barca they would turn into garbage in few months. Bet on that.

Sign Klop
That’s ridiculous.. Klopp would indeed make a massive difference at Barca .. but they have more top quality players than us .

I’ve said before only Messi and FDJ would walk into Liverpool’s starting eleven

Let's change Valverde for Klopp and see who walks where.

Griezzman would walk to Liverpools line-up.

In place of who ??

Liverpool plays faster and relies on running.

From our midfielders, probably only Frenkie would fit their style.
That doesn't mean that player by player, their midfielders are better.

On the other hand, which of their midfielders would be a starter here?
Since we play a different football.
Not only due to EV.
Imagine if Tito or Lucho were coaches today.
Would Henderson, Milner and co be starters here?

It is useless to compare players from different setups.
Aguero is a better player than Mandzukic.
But for example, for Croatia who relies on wing counters and crosses, Mandzukic is a better pick than Aguero.

Or in France.
Giroud is a weaker player than Aguero.
Or even Dembele.
But for French tactical setup, Giroud is a way better fit than Aguero or Dembele, who are on paper better players.

Now apply the same logic on this Barca vs Liverpool debate.

Fair points although Fabinho would walk into our midfield in place of Rakitic. Even Naby Keïta would be better than him z

Newsflash for you. Raki is not our starter anymore.

But you just hate him so much you have to talk about him in every thread.

Pique , Alba, Messi, De Jong, Artur would all stroll into the Liverpool first XI with a cigar and slippers on. Mats, Suarez and Vidal would come close too The massive difference is the managers.

Yet another man of the match award to Firmino !

He was rested today , home to Newcastle.
Liverpool were poor initially going down 1;0 at home but managed to equalise with a fabulous goal .

Enter Firmino after 30 minutes , first touch he wins the ball near the half way line - second touch was his great through ball to set Mane up for the second goal . Firmino later set up the third goal for Salah with an amazing bit of skill which will be trending for days .

In the meantime ..

Alba, Pique and Artur wouldn't walk into Liverpool's first team.. Neither would the latter 3. Again, you evidently don't really watch Liverpool.

Na .. Robertson is a class above Alba and has been for the last season or two . Pique is no better than Gomez or Matic

There are so many in here who for example slag off Firmino when it’s clear that they either don’t watch Liverpool or just don’t understand the game

You are living in a fantasy land my friend. Or at least a decade in the past. We're not the 'big dogs' of Europe anymore, far from it. Liverpool and City are miles ahead, and that's without the manager factor, which is simply not comparable and is the main reason we've fallen behind those clubs. The only players able to walk into Liverpool or City's lineup right now are Messi and De Jong, maybe Arthur and Ter Stegen too. Others, not a chance. While the likes of Vidal wouldn't even make the bench, especially under Pep.
