Roberto Soldado

No idea but it was a pretty bad record. It's awesome to see him continue his penalty streak this season too, already during pre-season.

Surprise! Surprise! Btw how many goal s did he score from open play last year in the epl.

2 goals from open play only in the EPL. One with a 2-0 win against Aston Villa and his other goal from a 1-0 win over Cardiff.

Pretty shocking considering the broke the club record transfer fee with £26 million...

Well it was really confusing that AVB and Sherwood (?) didn't just play crosses to Soldado since he's pretty much the classical 9 center forward.

I blame the team. Bad move, in retrospect, for Soldado- he's a decent player but on a team that can't play for shit. Regardless, VdB was still going to take his golden boy Torres with him to Brazil. Negredo didn't even make the cut.

Did anybody see this guys miss last night against burnley? He will never ever have an easier chance to score in his life.

What the hell has happened to him?

Yep, saw it. 2-3 years ago he would have buried that one like Ronaldo. Don't know what is wrong with him, maybe BPL doesn't suit him, looks like Torres these days.

The league may not suit him but its a 3 yard pass along the floor into and open net, that miss was criminal. I hope he moves back to La Liga in a cut price deal and regains his form from his valencia days. It's best for all parties involved really.

Lacking confidence. Should come back to La Liga and save his career. Maybe Sevilla to make them stronger. (Valencia have too many options)

It'd be ironic if he went to Sevilla to replace Negredo after Negredo joined Valencia to replace him.

Sometimes you just put so much pressure on yourself, the easiest things become impossible. The fans are against him, especially with Harry Kane piling up goals, that he should leave in June.
