Imo Brazil has never been known for its defending. Hence the whole wingback ideology, that defenders even should be more concerned with attacking than with defending. Ronaldo for example has been fantastic and truly quality since going back to Brazil but tbf even by watching highlights you can see that some of the defending against him is just WOEFUL.

He played in the friendly with Ireland...He had one really nice goal on a sweet little tiki taka buildup in the 2nd and was part of an own goal in the first half where he was clearly offside...Part of 2 goals and apparently MOTM but far from the best performance from Brasil, IMHO

Brazil will play like this in World Cup too. Dunga turned them into an opportunistic team rather than the magical team they were.
Missing out on players like Hernanes, Diego, Ronaldinho, Pato no matter what is inexcusable especially when you have players like Melo, Robinho, Ramires even Adriano recently. Yesterday they needed Ronaldinho's magic. They might win the world cup, but it will be very boring and every Brazilian fan won't like them as much.
