It looked like ballon d'Or was biased towards Madrid players because Modric robbed CR in 2018.

Now after Rodri robbed Vini, it's clear there wasn't a pro Madrid bias but just an anti Cristiano one.

Scoring goals against dogshit teams is meaningless. It stands out more because the other players at Vardrid don't know how to score goals.

An unpopular opinion here no doubt, but Yamal being so high is absolutely ridiculous tbh.

8th most deserving of "best player in the world" title is insane off the back of one good Euros. I think he's a fantastic player by the way, with immense potential, but the PR that comes with being a Madrid/Barca player is crazy. If the exact same performances had come from some random 26 year old at a mid table club then they wouldn't get anywhere near top ten.

Sent you lot back to where you always end up in international tournaments - losing spot
No need to get emotional.

Some random 26 years old at a mid table club can't do what he does

And being the dominant attacking player at a big international tournament certainly deserves a top 10 spot.

A random 26 year old, generally can't do what he did, that's the whole point.

I would say that almost every year there are multiple mid table players that produce more on the pitch over the course of a season than Yamal did. His Euros output is not representative of his entire season, which is understandable given his age. And even if we ignore such players and stick to those only at the big teams, are you telling me he was better than Salah? Palmer? Musiala? Over the course of a year?! Not even close!
