Ronald Koeman

We weren't the better side. Two past it teams going at each other, exposing their many weaknesses, and the side that was more lucky won.

RM still have a higher gear than us. It wasn't just luck. Their old core, while washed up, is still better than Messi, Busquets, Alba, Pique of 2020.

I don't think he is top tier coach but this is not his fault. We all new we have to change our veterans and now people bash him for playing youngsters? I do see problems with our tactics but he can have at least 6 months to see if he can develop our game on next level. We all now what we need:
1. new blood - he is starting that
2. more physical game - we run as much as them I believe
3. better game plan overall - for that everyone needs time

That is sad to see, our Busi looks like amateur while Ramos looks like a great defender still.

How is this exactly on Koeman? Squad was shambles and he got one signing - Dest (which he nailed btw ).
Also wanted a mobile midfielder and a forward - both profiles we miss badly.

On this particular occasion we weren't playing bad. We were killed by Lenglet basically in the moment we were dominating.

The squad building is shit, I give you that. I've been saying that for two years. However,

1. He doesn't have to play with 3 attacking midfielders at the same time, sacrificing midfield superiority.

2. He doesn't have to play a 17 year old attacking midfielder as a right winger, when there are two more experienced actual right wingers on the bench.

3. He doesn't have to wait until the 80th minute for in-game management.

4. He doesn't have to sub in 4 attackers all at once, having 6 in total; sacrificing your midfield and defense against a far more balanced squad, while you're being easily penetrated throughout the entire game.

5. Depay is a right footed hybdrid player, neither a 9 or a left winger. He wouldn't have solved our issues one bit - he would have just added to it.

6. Wiljnaldum wouldn't solve the issue of Busquets being our defensive midfielder, because clearly he doesn't see FdJ as one. Where would he play? As a no. 10? Cool, but our double pivot still remains a problem.

I don't see how his Dutch boys would have solved anything. They don't directly tackle any of the issues we have. Also, not getting his transfer targets isn't an excuse for poor management. Otherwise we should have just kept Valverde.

Don't think Dembele has a future here.
Think we were dominating the second half up until that Lenglet show.

Dembele is one of the few with pace.

RM had fkn Nacho and then LV as a right back you're telling me that can't be exploited with pace?

Dembele absolutely would have done something

Who is bashing him for playing youngsters? But like every other coach before him, he put players in the wrong position, If anything, most of us blame him for playing the seniors. Busquets is done! Messi is unmotivated and shouldn't play every game, Pique is also done too.

Their midfield is balanced, so they have something to build on. They have wingers capable of penetrating (though shit end product...). All it takes is 3 signings at best to fix Real Madrid's issues and turn them into a world class team. We basically need almost an entire new starting 11.

If he had gotten those bargain signings at least (Wijnaldum, Depay) we could have had a different conversation. Instead there is Pjanic

Don't know what did you guys expect given the circumstances and after only few months he's in?

Who cares if he doesn't? Sell him in the summer then and get a replacement. Until then he's the only player on the squad worthy of calling themselves a right winger.

Why do you keep saying that, lol? His transfer targets don't really solve any of our problems. How does adding a right footed Griezmann solve our issues? How does a midfielder who can't create andisn't a defensive midfielder solve our issues of creativity and lack of a proper defensive midfielder..? Because he's mobile? We already have FdJ for that, and just being mobile isn't enough.

The only things those transfers do is getting us closer to the Dutch national team's level, and that's not what we want.

RM lost to a shaktar B team, and a newly promoted side. We are FC Barcelona playing at home with Messi sorry I expect our players to give 100% and secure that win

Yep, i agree, we are in deep problems like through the core, what can happen in 2 months? Nothing, I actually think he'll be something like a take care manager unless of some miracle results.

I thought we were done as a club few months ago? And club did what, add Dest in last minute of transfer window.
We have to be realistic here. We need more time to get rid of some old players on our way to complete transition.

Yeah we are done as a club that can win the champions league but agaisnt a shit real Madrid at home we shouldat least draw.

Valverde lost Neymar and had to rely on Paulinho hut still smashed Madrid 5-1 in the league after the super cup eye opener.
