No. Because it's been 2 months since he took over a team that everyone thought was done. Stop making things up.

Or you think, pep would steamroll everyone with this Barca team?

I mean everyone thought we were finished after Neymar left and were singing players like Alex Vidal, Gomes, Turan Paulinho etc.

But Valverde exceeded all expectations and nearly went unbeaten while clearing out the deadweight.

Despite the unfortunate circumstances Koeman has to learn and do better if he's to succeed here.

No but I think Pep would demonstrate better in-game management possibly when the game is getting away from him. I'd argue in both tests where Barca have fallen behind Koeman has failed to show any tactical nous and flexibility whatsoever.

Lumping on 3-4 players with 10 minutes to go, so you end up with 7 attackers is just a mess. Frustrating too when you know theres a chance they wouldn't need to be desperate if he reacted sooner.

He's making very poor decisions, those decisions are irrelevant to the amount of time he's had or the players he hasn't been able to bring in.

We are playing better football and we have some youngsters who look like genuine starters for years to come. I also disagree with some player selections/subs but let's wait a bit more to see how he builds with what he was given.

Nah, but he'd at least have the guts to tell Busquets, Pique, Alba to fuck off. He'd have a solid plan going forward, what does Koeman actions look like to you? Do they look like the plans of a man that knows what he does?

Sorry, he looked like a deer in the headlights while watching us getting our shit pushed in in the last half an hour. You going to tell me, that playing with 2 CM is the only way we can pla now? Why not try a 4-3-3 for once.

He's right, though. Valverde did exceed expectations.

Don't think so. Valverde was sort of successful 1.5 year ago. That can be a lot in football. 2011 Barca was the best ever, and 2012 Barca was already disintegrating.

Valverde would sink like Titanic today. Like he started to before he was sacked.

81 minutes to make his first sub. We were losing 2-1 and playing badly, yet he still kept the same side for another 20 minutes.

I just don't think this guy is the answer. He's always been hit or miss wherever he's gone.

Did he really start to sink?

He had no Messi and Suarez for most of that campaign and we were still leaders of laliga, and undefeated in champions league after in difficult group with inter which only lost the title by 1 point.

I see it as he weathered the difficult part of the season and some of the best football Messi has ever played came in a close defeat to Atletico in the super cup which led to his sacking.
