Ronald Koeman

Mingueza was motm candidate when he started as a cb recently. Did he play CB after that, or only RB?

Mostly RB since both Dest and Roberto were often injured or had some sort of discomfort. Some use his performances at RB to say he's shit at CB.

Would 100% give him another season unless either of Pep/ Klopp becomes available. We have had a great run of games, which was and is promising. Need to build on that and, of course, reinforce the team in key positions.

Garcia, Wijnaldum, and Haaland should and must come regardless. See who we can sell and go from there.

Made no sense to play the same XI that got there was beat midweek

Yea. Koemam should have switched things up after that beating the team took on Tuesday. Looks like the players are still recovering mentally. Some fresh legs and minds would have helped.

Don't get me wrong.
I am furious to see both Lenglet and Pique playing. I just don't see alternatives: Umtiti is not trusted by Koeman, and Mingueza makes also experience mistakes

But lenglet has been a consistent nightmare. I can give the benefit of the doubt to Koeman for many things, as he had a good impact on mamy fronts.
But lenglet has proven he is not to be trusted, even if the only alternative is one legged Umtiti and below average Miguenza. This is one of those inexcusable repeated mistakes he has made.

If Laporta has any sense, he'll sack Koeman on March 7th and sign Brendan 'Tiki-Taka' Rodgers to a contract starting on June 1st.

Being third in this piss poor league that is La Liga rn is acceptable for Barca now?How the mighty have fallen. With the current team, at the begining of the 2000's, we would have been around the 8th-9th place.Laughable team and coach.

This club and management are simply not ruthless enough.

They keep giving the same culprits so many chances but they do nothing but prove they're damaged goods at this point. Like they will keep moving goalposts, "Well shit happens" "Oh just another bad game we will work harder on it" and so forth. It's like an old pair of Jeans that were once special but now it's old and has a shit ton of holes in it, and you have people screaming at you to throw them away but you refuse to because we can just "Patch" it even though it's beyond repair.

If not even the 2-8 shook these people up, nothing will I'm afraid.

Yeah. All season I read that it's a transition but it's not a transition season if the vast majority of your starting XI are the same, it can't be. We are hiding behind the word transition when really we mean shit. The only 'transition' we did is let a number 9 go and let Braithwaite replace him. We got rid of three 30+ players past their best, didn't replace two of them and brought in another player past his best. That isn't transitional planning, that's just a big clusterfuck.

Bartomeu had no idea or intention to overhaul the team, he just said whatever thing came out his mouth to protect himself after we got utterly humiliated yet again. The Pedri,Fernandes and Trincao signings were all agreed way before we got shafted again.

Koeman started to do good work but when it mattered most trusted these guys that have shown time and time again they are not up to it. We offer no surprises in both personnel or tactical setup for any decent side to worry about now. We are that predictable that opposition coaches probably stopped analysing our play leading up to a game 3 years ago.
