Zidane has left after he has won 3 CLs in 2.5 seasons while Valverde left us after two humilations in 2 CL's. Dont think Laporta wants him back.

All in all, he's done a good job in a transition season and we still can win the league. However, his obstinate tendencies and performances in important games make it really hard to want him to continue. I would be okay with replacing him with an attack-minded coach, Xavi included.

All onboard with Xavi, but don't like that many veterans from his time are still around. Major impediment. I hope he will be vicious with those guys or we might look like Setien Barca 2.0.
Xavi in before the old guard that he played with are out would be weird, and they wont be out entirely before another couple of years.

It's time to sell Roberto and for Laporta to sit down with Pique and tell him to join the board or pursue his business opportunities for a couple of years before returning as his presumable successor.
We need to bring in someone that can actually push Alba out. Someone like Gaya might suit that role since he had leapfrogged Alba for the Spanish NT. No point signing a LB talent that won't see minutes because Alba is seen as better. Need someone that is seen as equal to Alba.
I don't know what to do with Busquets though....perhaps he need to take up the role Xavi took in his last season off the bench.

I do not care how many trophies EV has won with Barca. His football was the most turgid pile of shit I have ever watched Barca play. It was so bad the trophies felt empty and devoid of excitement. There was no thrill. So Masalagician can continue jerking off to EV's poster by his bed with a Spartan helmet on his head he ordered on eBay for 5 dollars in peace every day, but it will not change the fact that Valverde was never the right manager for Barca stylistically, or any big club really.

Still he never played with 3 pure defenders (more like 5 sometimes tbh, the wing backs are supposed to defend all the way back)

Koeman's 3-5-2 still has an attacking mindset. We approached games with Valverde's flat 4-4-2 with an intention not to concede. He would regularly make defensive substitutions once we were up and try to defend the lead.
If you like defensive football, yes. But it's not my cup of tea.
