Ronald Koeman

Exactly, while Barcelona had all the reason to do something, but couldn't, and didn't even attempt to.
Koeman defended his approach and said he thought they'd lose more clearly if they didn't play 5ATB, and also very cheaply brought up the young players he played (mostly after the game was decided)
As overwhelmed as Barcelona were in that 8-2, they at least went for it then, they caused some trouble on their own, and 3 of the goals came in the last 10mins when they were already very much dead.

In the 8-2, we played without a manager, since there was total disconnection between the managers and the amigos who were effectively running the team and disobeyed tactics and such. Can't compare. It was a completely broken down team and played like one.

This 0-3 is just a team without any identity, with not good enough players (old and slow) and a mediocre manager, getting beaten by a Bayern playing at 50%.

Guys like Mingueza Demir Puig wouldn't make the bench at Chelsea. These are the guys Koeman is expected to give an important role whilst we are expected to challenge for LaLiga and CL. Not an attractive job and in fact I'd go as far as to say no good manager will want this job if challenging for titles is expected with such a poor squad.

Somehow people think these guy can win over Bayern lol.

In 8-2 defeat, the coach was garbage. He was so bad that all players dislike him. And the wolrd will remember that defeat for eternity.

Compare our team to ManU and we look dog shite. What sort of system Koeman has built in this time? Not much.. Not anything positive at least.

Setien was completely out his depth.

The tactical set up in that game was worst have seen in history of Barca and that is with far better players than in midweek.

Amigos have too much power but he failed on all fronts.. awful tactics, yet kept amigos it spine of team and couldnt connect with them at all.

What would be the preferred tactic vs Bayern?

We lacked quickness/speed upfront no matter what I think. Dembele was hurt as well? Don't remember

He was, he had no authority over the locker room. Players didn't even listen to him.

Really?

Going 442 vs Bayern with Messi/Ronaldo in front two and Roberto/Vidal on the wings with Busi as one of two is as bad as it gets.

They had players like Griezmann and Fati on the bench. There were plenty other options.

Picked more or less the oldest/slowest team could and put them out in a 442 where players were deferring back to MATS to pump ball up the park.

Yeah, Griez and Fati could definitely work better in game like Vs Bayern but not sure if they didn't want to put Fati in because he was so young. 100% better choice though.

Mean he failed at something very basic: Man management. To be fair, he was not even wanted here, only a 4th or 5th option.

Man management in the amigo era is anything but easy or basic. Blowing smoke up legends' asses is something only EV proved to be a master at lately.

Man management is basic of everything. Every manager must know it before thing like tactic.

Setien failed both. Players dislike him, his tactic was bad. Not really all of faults because nobody wanted him. He himself admited it. Still sueing Barca btw so everyone dislike him is pretty understandable.
