Messi and Suarez upfront would have won us the match tonight. Heck, even one of them would of been enough. Make of that what you will.

A fit Aguero would've won it. Maybe even Griezmann. A better emergency CF loan than Luuk would've done it, who missed 2 clear-cut chances. One of Messi and Suarez would have been enough of course as well (not both, however, because we would have conceded more). The problem is not letting them go, but not getting the right replacement. It's 2 seasons after Suarez left and we still don't have a real young CF. The timing with the injuries is bad of course as well, but getting Lol de Jong as your backup striker is just ridiculous for FC Barcelona.

I don't know what kind of weed you are smoking dude

With Messi and Suarez our defense would have been as terrible
With Messi and Suarez we would have created half of the chances that we created and Luuk and fuck'n Bob wasted

Ah, the footballing elite is here. Take a hike chump. You're so deluded and out of touch with real life that you would fuck and Excel spreadsheet.

Keita over FDJ, thats a funny one.

Overrating a squad player who played on arguably the best club side. What's next? Afellay over Fati?

With Messi we would create less chances? Stop doing drugs.

Koeman: "The physical issue, speed... We are inferior. We have to play our way, have possession, create opportunities.

In the past, we were behind physique levels of Bayern and Chelsea.

Now we are behind Benfica who are Portuguese club, who are always known for lighter, technical Brasilian based football.

Our mighty soft, short and slow DNA.

Never rated him as an attacking player. So... not hype dying off from me. Never seen him play much as a DM if at all since Busi plays EVERY FUCKING TIME, which is his best position for us, under a proper manager. If say we get Xavi and he sucks as a DM, I'd try to bait some team to buy him.

It isn't, and please stop deflecting every fantasy you have about the squad to managers. You have been doing it non-stop for like 4 years now.
Maybe it is about the players?
FDJ is never a sole DM, never in a hundred years. He is a player who moves vertically more than anything and it is his main strength, throwing his main asset isn't suddenly going to make him better for us.

People with "I'm always right" complex are funniest to argue with, up to a point.

Nah not always right or claim to be so no complex.

In terms of you commenting on game you watched half of I am 100% right and you not understanding what box to box is.. same again.

Stinker is yours on this one.

I see a lot of Titanic names thrown around: Pimienta, Setien, Gabriel Milito.

If the board hires one of them, we deserve to sink as low as possible

I know we don't see eye to eye, but if we get a manager who I trust vision-wise, which would be Xavi from the attainable names, than I will be able to convince myself. The thing is, I just don't like the managers we had. Not one is in my wheelhouse style-wise.

Let's hope we get Xavi, and we'll see how wrong I am in this. Maybe.

You guys kind of approved the recent namings, you more mellowly than others, I don't agree with it. I've always said it, so I may be delusional, but in the manager area, I am at least consistent.

Post Pep, we had many decent to average managers who weren't hired by any other top team, or even close to a top team. Speaking at club level, not national teams. I'm yet to see a manager I considered average or bad at Barca (almost all post Pep) succeeding at another top club.

He is just incompetent and this squad with no Messi magnifies it.

First he put Eric on same side as Nunez, so he gets destroyed and we concede early.
He then switches Eric and Araujo and we are dominating the game, creating some chances and FDJ was the most involved player.
So he takes him from midfield and put Gavi there, and we are totally screwed after it.
Didn't think for a second to fix that mistake, not once.
Our squad is bad, but even with players on his disposal we are better than Benfica
