2. Sure let koeman be if the next manger is going to be tuchel or ten haag. But if its going to be xavi then might as well fast foward the process and get him workin right now instead of wasting whole another year getting to know xavi.
Well, we have Atleti and Real, who are better than us. Than, between us and Sevilla is not much in it, we have some washed up veterans with unproven young blood, why people think we have such a great team? It's worst squad we ever had since i watch football. Also, let's not forget our coach is the worst for the first ten places in La Liga. It's really not that sure we will be top four in this current situation.
Come on, just looking at squad values we should finish comfortably above them. Everything else would be another good reason to sack Koeman. And while I agree that our squad isn't great or anything, I can't help but feel we should compete with these Madrid sides.

Transfermarkt is the most stupid way of rating squads. Knowing what we know about these teams we have no reason to use such a shit measurement. Gavi doesn't have a transfermarkt value and Lenglet is worth 22m but one is barely making the bench and one is starting.
Most of our 'deadwoods' that this forum unanimously agrees are trash actually make up most of our squad worth. The value is bumped because they play for Barca, not because they are good players.
Lenglet is literally worth more than Adeyemi lol, and worth the same as Inaki Williams

What world-class players do we have? We arguably have one in Frenkie who has had mixed performances and Ansu/Pedri borderline. Luuk De Jong, Braithwaite, Demir, Garcia, washed Pique, Dest, Mingueza, these are all players who have played a lot of minutes for us so far and half of them wouldn't start in Espanyol.

At present Barca are 9th with a game in hand. 4th at the end of the season would be a huge improvement to where they are now.
That is my opinion. It is not your thoughts are true and mine are false. That is arrogance. We are simply sharing what we think may happen . IMHO.

You can't accept the reality they just have a better XI than us. Aguero, Dembele, Depay are big names but that doesn't make them top players. That this is a list of our best players is kind of pitiful and sad. And you haven't mentioned at all that we are starting the likes of LDJ, Braithwaite, Demir, Nico, Eric Garcia that are levels below people like En Nesri , Rafa Mir, Kounde, Ocampos etcWhat we have is a few good players, unproven youth and then 0 wingers, strikers, or a back4 as somebody said above.

Transfermarkt is a snapshot in time. Lenglet has lots of experience for his age and I'm sure he'd look much better in a more defensive setup. We will find someone who will pay at least close to his current market value, if not 25M should we decide to sell him. Gavi is a young youth prospect fresh from Juvenil. When he plays a lot this year, his market value will rise a lot. Just look how Pedri's skyrocketed within a year.
Of course some players values are inflated, especially with older guys or lost cases like Umtiti. Adeyemi is a prospect and his market value will rise quicker and these are most of the times the players that get bought for sums way over their current "value" due to their potential alone. Still think transfermarkt is a pretty good source if you take it with a grain of salt and put things into perspective.

It's a useful resource if you don't know much about the leagues/teams in question and need a basic guideline but in some cases it is badly wrong and especially when it comes to the big clubs, who consistently have their players value inflated. We know the Barca squad well enough to not have to use that.

OK, even if say Sevilla has a better squad, which is obviously not true, but still I've heard worse. That's 4th place at the absolute worst that should happen. If you try to sell that Villareal and Sociedad also have better squads, you need to stop smoking pot.
Sevilla was dicked by Dembele last year. Fit Dembele is much better than Ocampos lol. Would be the best player from Sevilla, from midfield up.

Big names are valued too much, the collective and balance of the squad is much more important.
We do not have any true wingers fit other than Depay (who has to play 9 bc of how bad Luuk is) right now and our only fit 9 is Luuk De Jong. That matters more to me than 'we have Frenkie and Pedri'
Squad balance, depth and profiles are really important and if you don't do well building to those criteria you don't have a good squad.
