i havent 'met' a footballer but:

when New York City FC was training ahead of a match against the Vancouver Whitecaps back in 2015 i managed to snag an autograph of Lampard and got pretty close to Villa. Pirlo had already boarded the bus. I got some pictures of them, not very good. Was cool tho

This guy took a lot of unnecessary abuse from the Xavi fan cult who wanted him gone and replaced with Xavi. Hasn't been that much of an overall difference between the two as managers in terms of on field performances.

I've actually met Ronaldo and a few other big players in miami during their vacations. I saw Origi too in 2019 summer a few weeks after that game :(

He deserves more respect than he gets on the tactical aspect of the game,
knowing of course that large part of it was down to Alfred Schreuder.
