Samuel Umtiti

Calm down guys. Umtiti is still just 25 y.o. and the board can find a buyer for him. As of Napoli, they are top 3 club in Italy and have enough money to buy him. Is their interest real, we don't know. That is just a rumor, but money ways, yes they can afford to buy him for around 35-40 mil and in a year or two, to sell him for 60-75 mil at least.
Umtiti has to leave one way or another. We can not afford to keep him and Dembele. They are injury prone and won't get any healthier or better. If we buy Upamecano or anyone from Ruben Dias or Ibrahima Konate, we will have the new CB and Pique as a starters with Lenglet and Todibo as their subs. Do we need more than that?

As per "Sport" if La Liga returns on June 20, it should be remembered that Lenglet is sanctioned for the return in the field of Mallorca. Umtiti has suffered soleus of the right leg on his second day of training and if he does not recover, G.Pique and Ronald Araujo would be the center pair.

Umtiti is 27 in november.

Doubt that someone will pay 35 mil for player that don't have part of his knee...I think he does not have cartilage as I read somewhere.
When they look at his medical injury list, they will see that he didn't play 3 games in a row for 3 years.

No one will even pay 20m for him as his fitness is too suspect.

Barca would have to put him out on loan or let him leave for next to nothing if want his wages gone.

He is too young to consider those exotic places.

Put you in his shoes. He is living in a beautiful city, is part of one the biggest club in the world, is paid handsomely and despite his injuries he is still considered a French national team player. Why would you ever leave in these conditions ? He would be mad to leave.

Now, if he was injury free and not playing as much as he wants, it would have been another situation. Then, he would try his chance in some PL clubs like MU and co.

No reason not to go there actually if they're willing to match his current wages and give him a longer contract. Other than the city I guess. His career is done anyway.

On top of his comfort, he would lose his pride of being a player of Bar?a, teammate of top players like Messi, Ter Stegen and it would be the death of his national team player status.

Sure, he is injured right now but like Demb?l? he is still young and can hope to make a comeback. You don't go to those places unless you are already thinking about retiring.

He might as well go to a retirement league. No one in Europe is going to take him after his contract with us is done, unless he takes a massive pay cut and a mid table or lower team. He has no career left at Barca either, the rest of his contract will be spent lying in the hospital bed and collecting his paycheck.

He might as well be in China already.

You may be from France to defend Umtiti and Dembele with their current situation. Look. No disrespect to both of them. I know before this injuries they were solid national team players. Aside from whatever you have said for the city of Barcelona ( which is top 3 in the world ) the beautiful Mediterranean weather, the healthy paychecks every week, even if they don't play, aside from playing ( actually just watching ) with the best player in the world, these two should have some kind of sense of humanity and responsibility. Two years in a row, both of them are always injured with zero contribution to the team. The training seasons just got started and on the second day, Samuel got injured again. I mean, enough is enough. Every Barcelona fan knows that these two will never get any healthier and they will never have three games in a row played without injury. So, if they have that sense which I mentioned, they should take a year off, heal their injuries once for ever and then they should start from these exotic places. Dembele (22) and Umtiti (26) are considered still young, so they have time to come back to the big stages in Europe.
