BOSS MODE this 1st half...stopped 2 clear cut goal chances and overall great build-up play, exactly what we want from our centre-backs.

I see that he follows the attacker, I don't know of he's instructed to do so but he left some spaces open at the back.
Other than that he is very solid, played some great passes and seems comfortable on the ball.

Very good first half from our new guy I thought. Sticking to Mueller like a piece of annoying gum that you can't get rid of for a long period of time, had at least one block and one crucial clearance that I saw, and I was very glad to see what he could do offensively with two nice passes in Germany's half.
