He left b.c he could no longer lead the team. He wanted to leave being respected rather than leave b.c fans requested a new manager. Do you remember how he don't win champions or league the year he left?
Suppose he had stayed one more year and he didn't win anything important again. How do fans would have felt? How would YOU have felt?
As long as he was winning, there was never a problem.

He wasn't saying Cruyff was our enemy, he was simply saying that he wouldn't trust Cruyff b.c maybe Rosell Cruyff wouldn't understand the barcelona heart the way a Catalan born cule would. One Champions League title, 2 League titles including a record winning League title. Strong finances. Rosell has done at least ok. Arguably good or great. You certainly can't say he's done a bad job.

You could argue a case on his reign being distasteful, this includes the dodgy accounting and the zealous campaign to try to discredit the previous regime, maybe even argue the selling of Ibra on the cheap was improper, the selling out of the shirt, the arguments with Cruyff, Pep, not speaking up to defend the club and hiding behind others and so on.

in my mind he has won 1 league and increased our revenues while reducing debt he has gone a good job in that respect, but he just rubs people the.wrong way.

Anyway, I think we'll buy another midfielder. I doubt won't do it, as they probably see that Xavi may get injured in any moment.

Bayern would have had to pay 21,6M (18M + 21% taxes) anyway. From what I read we only got 20M (or was it 22M?) from them in cash, the remaining "money" was paid with friendlies.
