Rosell is a marketing genius for a start. we supposedly have the most fans worldwide but only the 4th highest revenues. Watch for the nike deal to get redone for a start.

He was the Camp Nou last night as well

A survey of 800 socis with voting rights was carried out before the clásico on Sunday, when asked who they would vote for in the 2010 elections the results were:

Sandro Rosell 56.8%
Ferran Soriano 11.4%
Sala i Martin 9.6%
Alfons Godall 5.9%

Presumably the other 16.3% went in the "don't know" column.

Yeah, I think we've guessed that already!

I read an interesting article in MD this morning which reported claims by Rosell that Barça is the most indebted major club in Europe. I'd give the claim some credit if it wasn't for the fact that he also claims Liverpool is among the clubs with the most sustainable business model :icon_neutral:

I saw some poll where Soriano was in the lead. Can't remember was it EMD or Sport.
And I do believe we are more in debt than Laporta makes it out.

well I don't know if we are the most indebted major club in Europe (ahem*Real Madrid*ahem) but if you look at how much the club said they could spend at the beginning of the summer xfer window (20m-25m Euros) and how much we did end up spending (I don't even want to do the math) then one would have to conclude that the club borrowed money to finance the summer spending.

If Rossel doesn't execute his plan to make of Pep some kind of an english type of manager, any ideas who could be our now sport director ?
