He is much more well rounded, but Silva is more of an expert in his own game and that is why Cazorla never got the same recognition as Silva. Plus, Silva whines and complains, a bit of a brat, so he got the attention. Cazorla is too much of a nice guy and sacrifices a lot, where as Silva is a bit of a lime light chaser. As much as I love Cazorla, I like don't like his passiveness and admire Silva's ruthlessness and his ability to make people think he is better than he really is (he is mighty good but not AS good).

I agree with this completely. Cazorla is more complete than both Silva and Cesc, you can put him anywhere in midfield and he will be solid. But dont forget he was playing in Villareal and Malaga, and its hard to be outspoken when you are not playing in a big club to demand a place in the team. Similar to England, the likes of Holt from Norwich will never get any chance in the England team despite scoring 15 goals in the league and someone like Sturridge who's always on the bench for Chelsea will get ahead of him simply because one plays for Chelsea and the other for Norwich.

I think Cazorla will prove himself in the PL this season and i expect most people in this country will say he's better than Silva end of the season. Funny thing is most people didnt know him before he came here. But even if its only 3 games, he has been fantastic and he plays in a team that suits him perfect

I think Silva is better than Santi but as Superfly pointed out he often goes missing for a long period of time.

Good post, although I'd like to add that while Malaga and Villarreal aren't in any way big clubs by tradition they both made it to the CL when he played for them.
