Pique has earned thee "legend treatment" from Barca, just like Xavi,Puyol,Iniesta or even Mascherano. He should have the right to decide when he leaves after 11 years of serving the club well, he shouldn't be shown the door
He should be phased out from starting spot soon, either by Lenglet-Umtiti partnership or by new signing. This is also the barca way, we don't sell a starter before someone is already here to replace him.
Get CB position sorted out next year with someone the club sees the potential in him to bench Pique (May be Todibo is that guy? if not sign someone) and then he will likely won't stay here beyond 2020 or 2021 at most

No. He's still good overall, just not as he once was, and he'll not get us too much money anyway.

If Umtiti gets his health in order and Todibo is as good as touted, we're fine in the CB area. A lot depends on Umtiti's state next summer.

If we sell Coutinho though and Eriksen slips away or extends with Tottenham, De Ligt might become an option.

Sounds reasonable. Think he has mind on other stuff as well and won't cling on for long.

Although, I can't see how we fit him, Umtiti, Lenglet and possibly: de Ligt.

Players like Xavi, Iniesta, Busquets, Piqué, Messi should end their Barca careers with a year where they are phased out rather than sold.
These legends arrived basically for free so no need to try and sell them to the highest bidder. Concerning the salary they already repaid that on the pitch.

I believe Pique is smart enough to see the writing on the wall. Next season will be his last at Barcelona. Then he'll probably join one of the LA MLS teams for a year or two, connect some contacts in Hollywood and Silicon Valley for all his businesses.
