Okay, France looked impressive in the tournament. Then look how they were walled by Germany without even too much of an effort. That should tell you something.

Colombia/Chile and Belgium had all looked good as well and got knocked out by Argentina/Brazil.

Belgium looked good? What? Against the US maybe, even though they were too incapable to capitalize.
Other than that, Columbia and Chile are second tier teams. Spain and to a lesser degree Portugal are not.
(Though one could argue whether Portugal should be considered second tier by now as well).

Colombia and Chile were much better teams on the pitch than portugal or spain, in this wc. Regardless of "tiers".

Trolling?

Go and put a nice big bet on a Netherlands/Germany final you will get good odds.

I disagree. Holland's only really good game was the one against Spain, they've been average in the rest and got super lucky against Mexico.

They are the only team who have been attacking with real purpose and are second top scorers of the tournament. I disagree that they got lucky vs Mexico.

Colombia and Chile are both better than France.

Brasil: Julio Cesar; Maicon, David Luiz(c), Dante, Marcelo; Fernandinho, Oscar, L.Gustavo; Hulk, Fred, Bernard

Germany: Neuer; Lahm, Boateng, Hummels, Höwedes; Schweinsteiger, Khedira, Kroos, Özil; Müller, Klose

Bernard replacing Neymar. Klose scoring his 16th against Brasil would be hilarious.

If Brazil wins it'd be a very big surprise here in France.

Almost no one believes Brazil can win.

Okay, France looked impressive in the tournament.

No they didn't.

- Honduras > Who would lose against Honduras?
- Switzerland > Giroud injures their CB right at the beginning and don't even get a red card. Switzerland never adjusted their defense after that.
- Ecuador > They did poor, very poor against Ecuador.
- Nigeria > What a surprise, they started winning midfield when they... injured again a player who was substituted with a player that had almost no experience in these kind of matches. Then they scored. And matuidi should have been sent off after another horrible foul.

France wasn't impressive at all. They got lucky from the start with the draw and were sent home right when they met a good opponent that wasn't even playing great (was nowhere near the best performance i saw from germany)

Have a feeling Germany will dominate tonight and eventually win it. They are just better both individually and as collective play atm imo.
Brasil tough got the advantage of the home frantic crowd and probably the higher level of motivation like they had against Colombia too.
