TBF the Dutch have a better team. The only good players Arg have is Lavezzi, Messi, Higuaín and Mascherano, the rest (with all respect) is just mediocre.

Because Cillessen, Kuyt, Martins Indi, Vlaar, De Vrij, Blind, De Jong, Wijnaldum are world beaters? I bet most non Dutch people hadn't even heard of half of these guys 3 weeks ago. Sneijder disappeared into obscurity in Turkey a long time ago and RVP is doing his usual Heskey impressions on the international knockout stages. Argentina quite clearly have the edge, even with injuries. Particularly in defense. For starters they don't need 5 at the back to keep some sort of defensive stability.

So Zabaleta and Garay are mediocre? Enzo Perez was just voted the best player in the portuguese league. Like him or not Demichellis helped Man City win the league. Dutch team have far more mediocre players.

Demichelis is a good defender. Playing at a high level since his move to Malaga under Pellegrini and also liked at City now (http://www.mcfc.co.uk/news/team-news/2014/may/demichelis-is-player-of-the-month), cleaning up a lot of Kompany's mess. He has a bad reputation based on van Gaal's final season with Bayern where Bayern played a high line with no pressing. Sometimes prone to overambitious passes out of the back but apart from that as solid and experienced as anyone.
