He was immense when he played us... Remember that match against Stuttgart and we went 1-0 down in Germany? Zlatman equalised in the second half and MEssi ran riot in the home leg.
I had a severe man crush on him then

But he is slow... Doesn't suit our high line defense. Can't partner Pique especially.. Wouldn't be the greatest option, at this time I'd prefer to develop Bartra/Muniesa. Think hisdevelopmnent stalled the last 3 years, may be because, as Z mentioned, of his injury history
