Not quite sure Real really need him now honestly.

He's different compared to the likes of Modric and Kroos and they have Kovacic,Ceballos,Isco etc. Modric is getting older but SMS and him are different in terms of style.

No, its not the same logic at all. First of, SMS sucked way, way more then Messi. Second, SMS wasnt double marked or even sometimes tripple marked. Third, every time Messi touches the ball you can see class, same with few other players in WC. With SMS you just dont see it. Why? Because he has no football class. He is nowhere near technical enough to play for Barca. Only thing he got going for himself is his height, which in football is not even an advantage.

You can deny it all you want, but fact still stands that Messi had a shit WC and a shit nt-career but that means 0 because wc =/= how good a player is. He is still the best player ever to walk the earth.

No, its because you compare SMS to Messi in terms of how he can handle the ball. Ofc he is gonna look like a sunday league player in comparison what did you expect?

Oh yeah and Paulinho and Rakitic are? They are light years away from Messi, Xavi, Busquets and Iniesta etc and yet they have been very good, especially Rakitic who has become one of the most important players in the team.

If you think his only strength is his height then you simply have no idea what youre talking about.

Lmao I can tell you've never seen this man play. His touch on the ball is amazing and he's a great passer, there's a reason Lazio doesn't want to let him go.

Sooo.. where is he going (if he leaves)? United? Dont think Barcelona/Real would pay 80-120m to put him on the bench. Even for united he clashes with Pogba. That leaves PSG? Can they afford him regarding FFP? Chealsea? Not that many options.
