The contract extension hasn't done him well.

This is like the second season in a row this has happened to him.

He started off strong last season but tailored off and was getting more and more exposed by teams as the season went on. To be fair last season was a mess in terms of tactics with him being shoved into a role that he had very little support going forward and even defending at times.

This season he looked improved on both ends of the park, but since January he's been poor and all those improvements he showed seemed like for nothing as he regressed back into is last season's form. Not sure if it has to do with the Contract extension or teams just figured his schick out and easily know how to handle him and target his weaknesses at the back.

Or what we have seen is nothing more than just a purple patch and this is his real current level at RB.

The convocatoria is not the squad for the game. Barca will name no more than 18 for the game, 1 hour before kickoff. RM screwed this up in Copa the season before this, got DQ'd.
